'Assault' on Army officer's fiancée in Bhubaneswar: Seven accused granted bail four hours after arrest.
The Chandaka Police arrested seven individuals for allegedly assaulting an Indian Army officer's fiancée on Chandaka Road in Bhubaneswar. The accused were granted bail by the Bhubaneswar JMFC court just four hours after their arrest.
The seven individuals who were arrested by the Chandaka Police in Bhubaneswar for allegedly assaulting an Indian Army officer's fiancée on Chandaka Road were granted bail just hours after their arrest. According to sources, the accused were granted bail by the Bhubaneswar JMFC court only four hours after being arrested. Earlier that day, Chandaka Police had arrested the accused for a road rage and assault incident involving the Army Major and his fiancée in Bhubaneswar on the night of September 15. Additionally, 11 mobile phones and a vehicle were seized, as confirmed by Additional DCP, Krushna Prasad Das. When taken to court after their arrest, the accused denied the charges of assault, stating that they did not attack anyone.
