Missing girl student found in Balasore

Jajpur: A 19-year-old Plus III student who went missing from a private degree college hostel in Panikoili, Jajpur district, was traced to Balasore, where she is reportedly staying with her husband.
The girl, a native of Nilabagh in the Balasore district, was staying in the college hostel because her parents live in Bihar. She skipped a blood donation camp at Panikoili bazaar, which the hostel inmates attended, and instead stayed in the hostel, claiming she was ill. When her friends failed to locate her in the hostel after returning from the camp, the hostel warden notified college authorities, and a complaint was filed with Panikoili police the same night.
The girl was discovered during the investigation in the home of one Chandan Malik in Koligaon village, Khantapada police limits, Balasore district. She told police she was legally married to Chandan and refused to return home.
