Odisha Declares Holiday On October 25 For Solar Eclipse
Bhubaneswar: Due to a solar eclipse, the state administration on Thursday designated October 25 a public holiday.
The day would completely close all government offices, educational institutions, schools, colleges, revenue and magistrate courts, banks, and banking institutions.
Due to the solar eclipse, the State Government has proclaimed a holiday for Tuesday, October 25. The Chief Minister's Office announced that all government offices, schools, colleges, educational institutions, revenue courts, banks, and other banking institutions will be closed on this day.
However, no justification for the choice was given.
The Pathani Samanta Planetarium in Bhubaneswar, on the other hand, plans to make extra measures to make sure that people can view the eclipse.
