Odisha CM Conferred with Capital Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award
New Delhi: On Sunday at the India International Centre in New Delhi, Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik received the Capital Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award in appreciation of his exceptional leadership.
In front of Justice AK Patnaik, former CJI Justice NV Ramana gave the award to the CM.
On this occasion, Justice Ramana will give the Capital Foundation Society's annual lecture titled "My Experiences in the Indian Judiciary."
"Under Patnaik's direction, Odisha's transformational path got underway, and over the following two decades, the State made quick progress in every field. His straightforwardness, generosity, and unwavering honesty have won the hearts of the people of Odisha, according to a previous statement by Capital Foundation Society (CFS).
Since its founding in 1987, the CFS has worked to provide a forum for policy discussion and debate on matters of both national and worldwide significance. The organization's board of governors is made up of Supreme Court justices, cabinet ministers, senior civil servants, political figures representing various parties and interests, academics, chiefs of the police and the military, lawyers, and social workers. Former Indian presidents Ram Nath Kovind and Pranab Mukherjee, former deputy chairman of the Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia, UK member of the House of Lords RP Loomba, and many other notable individuals have been members of the organisation.
